Be part of the team that will develop Roggia | Cascina Falchera’s artistic and eco-creative residence.

In Cascina Falchera, we want to give life to an artistic and eco-creative ecosystem.

From March 2024, Roggia will be the residency of artists, designers and other creatives, who during their stay, will engage with the community and landscape surrounding Cascina Falchera in order to develop physical transformations that leave a mark and enrich the territory.

This invitation is directed to you, who:

• Are between 16 and 26
• Are a student of art, design, landscape architecture, history of art, or simply are a creative mind with a very strong curiosity about these fields

We are currently gathering a group of 15 people who are motivated to work interdisciplinary to help us develop:

• A concept for Roggia
• Prototypes of artistic productions to be exhibited in Cascina Falchera
• An event to launch Roggia

Join us for two days of work at Cascina Falchera.

The facilitators of the two days will be Sara Nardi and Matteo Ferrari from the organization Volcano, who specialize in place-making and processes of large-scale urban transformation, in collaboration with Consorzio Kairos.

The event is made possible by the European project DESIRE – Designing the Irresistible Circular Society, as a part of the New European Bauhaus, funded by the European Commission.

• Saturday 27th January  – 10.30 – 18.00

Registration/

• Deadline is the 17th January

Activities will be held in English.

Participants and election criteria/

• We will select up to 15 participants
• The sooner you register, the higher chances to get a spot in the team
• However, we will do our best to select participants out of the final pool of candidates, in such a way that different disciplines, age groups and backgrounds are represented in the final group

Reward/

Besides two fantastic days of creation and immersion in the beautiful countryside of Cascina Falchera, we offer:

• Meals are included and provided by Consorzio Kairos
• An honorarium of 100€ for being part of the team (for the first 12 participants)
